Scarborough Cricket Club will be holding The Festival Dinner on Wednesday 28 August – 7.30pm for 8.00pm – in the elegant surroundings of the President’s Marquee, after the first day’s play in the Yorkshire v Durham game.

Guests at this black tie event will enjoy a three course meal and coffee before being entertained by our two guest speakers; Gary Verity, President of Scarborough Cricket Club and Chief Executive of Welcome to Yorkshire, as well as Harry Gration, the BBC Look North presenter who has recently been awarded an MBE for his services to broadcasting.  Gary and Harry have both recently been appointed to the Board of Yorkshire County Cricket Club.

Gary Verity, Chief Executive of Welcome to Yorkshire said: “We are very proud of Scarborough Cricket Festival which is one of the oldest and most famous cricket festivals in the world. It attracts 28,000 visitors to the area each year who are always guaranteed first class cricket and a terrific atmosphere in a great ground.”

Scarborough Cricket Festival runs from 28 – 31 August.
