Scarborough Athletic suffered a fourth successive defeat, on Saturday, as pressure increases on manager John Deacey.

The Seadogs lost out 1-0, at The Flamingo Land Stadium, to promotion-chasing Lancaster City. Despite their poor form, it was their first loss at home, this season.

Deacey's men sit 16th in the Bet Victor NPL Premier Division:

Elsewhere, Danny Rowe's 94th-minute leveller saw Whitby Town earn a 3-3 draw at another highflying side, Basford United.

The Blues led twice, after goals from Matty Tymon and Arron Wearmouth, early in each half, but after falling 3-2 down, with a minute remaining, manager Chris Hardy was happy with a point:

Bridlington Town are up to fifth after a 5-1 thumping of Grimsby Borough, at the Hudgell Solicitors Stadium.

Brett Agnew's side are six points behind Toolstation Northern Counties East League leaders Penistone Church with three games in hand. The goals were shared between Fraser Papprill, Billy Logan, Christopher Jenkinson, Lewis Taylor and Agnew himself:

In rugby, Scarborough lost 15-9 at Morley and Bridlington were edged out 32-27 by Keighley.
