Whitby Town Into Final Qualifying Round of FA Cup

Whitby Town are into the fourth and final qualifying round of the FA Cup for the first time in 16 years.

It comes after a 3-1 away win at Gloucester City last night.

They will host Stourbridge of the Southern Central Premier League on Saturday 19th October.

The sides play at the same level.

If successful, Town would reach the First Round Proper, with an appearance on Match of the Day and a place in the draw with Football League One and Two clubs including Sunderland and Portsmouth.

They last reached that stage in 2003 when they lost 4-0 at Hartlepool United.

The furthest they've gone is the second round in 1984 and 1986.
