Blues Go Fourth And Boro Held Ahead Of Tuesday's Derby

Whitby will go into Tuesday's Yorkshire Coast derby in fourth spot after a 4-0 victory at Grantham Town, on Saturday.

The Blues scored all their goals in the first half and raced ahead through Aaron Wearmouth's fifth minute opener.

It was 2-0, just three minutes later, when Danny Rowe nodded home Jassem Suker's inswinging corner.

Former Middlesbrough marksman Brad Fewster made it three, seventeen minutes in and the same player completing the scoring, eight minutes before the break.

Scarborough Athletic, meanwhile, were held 0-0 by visitors Witton Albion, at the Flamingo Land Stadium.

It was a frustrating afternoon for John Deacey's men who visit Whitby's Towbar Express Stadium, in an all-ticket derby, kick-off 7.45pm.
