Whitby enjoyed a winning draw but couldn't get the crucial tenth wicket at hosts Blackhall, on Saturday.

Asked to bat first, Will Donald's men made 203/7 from their 50 overs with Joe Padmore and Theo Smith both making 44. Finlay Morris took 5/25 with Donald himself taking 3/23 and Corey Hart also picking up a wicket as the County Durham side limped 128/9 but downpours meant they had just 43 overs to survive.

Bridlington weren't able to reach their target in another rain-hit fixture. The York Senior Division Two leaders were held to a losing draw in a reduced-over contest at Pocklington. After losing the toss, Brid's opponents amassed 158 all out from just short of 38 overs. Steve Janney took 5/36 and Simon Leeson 3/35 in bowler-friendly conditions. However, the visitors struggled in reply with Janny's 31 the highlight as they stumbled to 137/8 from 32 overs.

In Yorkshire Premier North, Scarborough reduced Sessay to 76/6 at North Marine Road as Linden Gray took 4/11. Kristian Wilkinson and David Snowball took a wicket apiece, before the rains came and abandoned matters in the 30th over.

York Senior Premier Folkton & Flixton had opponents Malton & Old Malton stummbling at 114/9 when the rain came in their encounter. Connor Stephenson took 5/61. Jamie Nesfield, Elliot Hatton and Harry Walmsley took one wicket each and there was a run out.
