Scarborough Athletic hit double figures and there were also convincing victories for Whitby Town and Bridlington as football returned to the Yorkshire Coast on Saturday.

John Deacey's men thumped a Scarborough Football League Representative Side 10-0 at Scarborough Rugby Club. James Walshaw, who has just signed a new contract with the Seadogs, fired five goals, with Flynn McNaughton blasting a brace and further goals from Michael Coulson, Wayne Brooksby and Harry Coates.

Fellow BetVictor NPL Premier side Whitby put four past Northern League Second Division Billingham Synthonia. Former Middlesbrough marksman Bradley Fewster hit a hat-trick with Matty Tymon notching the other for Chris Hardy's side.

Bridlington were also in fine form, beating the newly-formed North Ferriby 3-0 at Queensgate. Player-boss Brett Agnew struck twice in the first half, with Charlie Birley adding a third, just after the hour mark.
