In Yorkshire's Premier League North, Jack Holt's five wickets helped Scarborough to a ten-run win at Stamford Bridge, on Saturday.

A low-scoring affair saw Scarborough batting first and being bowled out in the final over for just 153. Only four batsmen made double figures but crucially Holt and Linden Gray put on 74 for the ninth wicket as the visitors recovery from 76/8. In response, Bridge were quickly reduced to 29/4, and despite a length fifth-wicket stand, they collapsed to 143 all out, with more than 11 overs still to bowl, Scarborough winning by ten runs.

In the York & District Premier Division, Folkton & Flixton lost by four wickets at home to Studley Royal. Following on from last week's disappointing end to their Village Cup defence, the hosts struggled to 58/7, before Connor Stephenson and Jamie Nesfield cracked 48 and 50 respectively. The home side were still bowled out prematurely inside 40 overs for 176. Nesfield picked up two wickets in Studley Royal's response, but the visitors still romped home by six wickets.

Simon Leeson set the standard with 2 for 20 from his 12 overs, with another brace of wickets for Lewis Beasley and Steve Janney notching three late on as the hosts were all out for 176. Solid contributions throughout saw Brid home inside 30 overs for the loss of five wickets- opener Sam Wtragg top-scored with 66.

In North Yorkshire South Durham Division One, Whitby also won comfortably, at Middlesbrough seconds. Fin Morris took 3/37 from 15 overs, with fellow opening bowler, Corey Hart, taking two wickets of his own. The home side limped up to 149/7 from their 50 overs. Whitby's reply was boosted by skipper Will Donald's unbeaten 76 from 71 balls as they raced home with half their overs remaining.
