Bridlington stay top of Division Two after thumping Yapham by 145 runs, it was Saturday's only win for our featured Yorkshire Coast cricket sides.

Steve Janney top-scored with 88 as Brid made 221/8 from their 45 overs. The hosts were then bundled out for 65 with four ducks in their short innings. Andy Smith took 4/29 and Lewis Beasley 3/9 as Yapham lasted less than 30 overs and the visitors secured a 145-run win.

In Yorkshire Premier League North, a spectacular batting collapse saw Scarborough suffer a 24-run defeat to Woodhouse Grange, at North Marine Road. Grange were bowled out for just 184, with Matthew Pillans taking 4/32. The home side's response was going well at 130/2, but an almighty collapse saw them lose eight wickets for 30 runs and fall 20 runs short, all out for 160 in the 47th over.

Flixton and Folkton also lost, by eight wickets, against Hull Zingari, in the York and District Premier. The National Village Cup holders were skittled for 180, with Harry Walmsley top scoring with 51 and support from Jake Hatton (43) and Richard Malthouse (40). Zingari were into their stride quickly, however and eased home with just two wickets down and more than 12 overs to spare.

Whitby also lost out, but in a much closer battle that went down to the penultimate ball. Will Donald's men were beaten by just one wicket, by Richmondshire, in a North Yorkshire South Durham Division One thriller. Donald top scored with 62 as Whitby were bowled out for 205. Donald took two wickets himself as Richmondshire faltered after initially putting on 65 for the first wicket. Ricky Hall snared four victims, but the hosts limped home in a dramatic final Donald over.
