Both Scarborough and Bridlington Rugby Clubs play their final league games of the season on Saturday afternoon.

Both clubs are playing at home and are calling for big crowds to support the sides as they face very different situations.

Bridlington are playing to avoid relegation while Scarborough need a win to secure home advantage in the promotion playoffs.

Bridlington face Pocklington at Dukes Park knowing that to avoid the drop they need to win by at least four tries and hope that Cleckheaton lose their match at Malton and Norton.

Skipper Josh Thundercliffe says the team are focusing on their own performance

Scarborough are playing Bradford and Bingley in their final league game of the season. Boro have already secured a place in the promotion play off. They will play Blackburn from the North One West league at the end of the month.

Where that playoff match is played depends on which of the two sides ends up with the most league points, the more successful team will get the home advantage.

Club Captain Matty Jones says that while Boro currently have the upper hand they need a win on Saturday to ensure they keep that advantage.

Here is Bridlington First Team Captain Josh Thundercliffe talking about the preparations for Saturday's game.

Scarborough Captain Matty Jones and Youth Development Officer James Perrett talk about the clubs season and how they want to make Saturday's game a family event...
