Whitby Town Football Club has announced that both manager Chris Hardy and assistant manager Lee Bullock have signed two-year extensions to their deals.

The club say the duo have agreed terms and have signed on until the end of the 2020-21 season, "showing their commitment to the club and the work that they have started at the Turnbull Ground."

Hardy joined the club from Guisborough Town in November 2015, with Bullock stepping up to a player-assistant manager role after a spell as caretaker manager. The pair went on to guide the club to survival, before making a push for the play-offs and winning the North Riding Senior Cup the following season.

This season, Hardy has set about building a strong squad, with support from the Football Board, who have made their commitment to the manager very clear, with the reward of a two-year extension.

The club say they have been impressed with the calibre of player he has brought to the football club on a very tight budget.
