Chris Bolder has returned to Scarborough Athletic to take up the role as assistant manager.

Mark Hume was removed from his post earlier this week by Steve Kittrick. Bolder left Boro in November 2017 to take up the managerial position at North Ferriby United, who were in the National League North at the time.

He was sacked by The Villagers as the club got into financial difficulty.

Scarborough boss Kittrick said:

"I'm really pleased Chris has agreed to come back and I introduced him to the players at training last night - plenty know him already from last season.

He's learned a lot from his time as manager at North Ferriby and having him back will be a big plus for us."

Bolder also played for the Seadogs between 2013-17 before becoming assistant manager the first time around.
