Behaviour from 'certain individuals' from Scarborough Athletic has led to segregation for the side's upcoming match away at Stalybridge Celtic.

Boro face the Celts on Tuesday evening (9 October) at Bower Fold, but Scarborough have released a statement confirming that home and away fans will be separated.

The statement read:

"Whilst Stalybridge did not want to make such a decision, regrettably behaviour by certain individuals from the Scarborough contingent has unsettled clubs in the League to implement strategies for the safety of those in attendance.

Scarborough supporters will be signposted to enter and reside in the The Smufitt Kappa Stand, entry at the top end of Bower Fold.

No alcohol will be served on the evening to Scarborough supporters inside the Ground.

Food and hot drinks will be made available to supporters."

The Seadogs' fixture with rivals Whitby Town in August was also segregated on advice from North Yorkshire Police, but violence still arose from a small number of supporters from both sides.
