Scarborough Athletic fans have been given a vision of the clubs future that includes an extra stand and an aspiration to enter the national league.

The vision was set out by club chairman Trevor Bull at a fans forum on Friday night. The fans were shown plans for a new stand at the Flamingo Land Stadium with the Chairman hopeful that the club will be able to apply for planning permission in the coming weeks.

While reaffirming his aspiration that the club should aim to play in the National League, the Chairman also said that the additional stand is not just about getting the facilities 'league ready' but also about creating a better experience for the supporters.

Scarborough play their final league game of the season on Saturday having already sealed promotion to the Evo-Stik Premier League in their first season at the Flamingo Land Stadium. Trevor Bull says the support from the town and it's businesses has been first rate.
