Brid Sign Boro Striker

Published at 6:43am 16th January 2017.

Bridlington Town have signed Scarborough Athletic striker Jake Day on a dual registration.

The 24 year old has struggled for game time under Boro boss Steve Kittrick, despite coming off the bench to score his first goal for The Seadogs in their League Cup win over Spennymoor Town last week.

Day signed for Scarborough from Humber Premier League side East Yorkshire Carnegie in November and has previously played for Bridlington Sports Club.

He now joins the Northern Counties East League side, who face Albion Sports tomorrow (17 January.)
