Osebi Abadaki's second-half hat-trick emphatically cancelled out Dale Hopson's 17th goal of the season as the Seasiders stay third in the Evo-Stik NPL Premier Division.

It was the home side who took the lead ten minutes into the second half. Dan McWilliams fed the ball to Hopson, who skipped past two Nantwich players before picking his spot in the bottom right hand corner from the edge of the box.

Nantwich replied immediately, Ryan Brooke saw his 30 yard effort was parried by 'keeper Shane Bland, but the ball fell kindly to Abadaki who fired into the far left hand corner from 10 yards out to level it up  at 1-1.

A lightning breakaway from The Vics as Abadaki raced away from Andrew May and again fired across Bland in the Whitby goal to turn the game on its head to make it 2-1.

The game was killed off with ten minutes to play, as Brooke beat the offside trap to square it from the right hand side to Abadaki who completed his hat-trick unmarked at the back post and make it 3-1.

Co-operative Whitby Man of the Match: Luke Bythway- Strong at the back but met a formidable foe in Abadaki. Bland saved well to keep the scoreline respectable.
