Evo-Stik Northern Premier League leaders Whitby Town travel to First Division South table-toppers Shaw Lane, in the latest instalment of the Buildbase FA Trophy this Saturday.

The last round saw Lane thump Whitby's top tier rivals Frickley Athletic 6-2, while the Seasiders defeated another Premier outfit, Workington 4-3.

Former Frickley striker Gavin Allott leads the line for the home side, who play host to the Blues for the first-ever time.

The winners of the tie will pocket £3,250 and a place in the competition's third qualifying round when teams from the National League North and South enter the competition.

Town boss Chris Hardy welcomes back skipper Steven Snaith as he looks to better last season's finish in the Trophy, when Whitby also beat Workington in the opening round.

At the same time in the league, Rushall Olympic have the chance to leapfrog the Blues, if they avoid defeat at top-half Warrington Town.

A supporters' coach leaves the Turnbull Ground on Saturday at 9.30am, with places still just £10 each, but fans must book through chairman Graham Manser on 07966 241 344 due to high demand.

Admission is Adults £6  and Concessions £3.  For those travelling independently, the post code is S70 6HZ. Directions: Leave the M1 at junction 37, take the A628 towards Barnsley, then take the 2nd Right into Shaw Lane.

In the event of a draw, there will be a replay at the Turnbull, this coming Tuesday, with a 7.45pm kick-off, where there must be a winner on the night.

Otherwise, the Blues will host Goole in the Integro Doodson Sport League Cup, with the same start time and extra time and penalties if necessary.
