Seeing how they Royally did it in the 70s.

Tomorrow (19th May) Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will tie the knot.

But we're taking a look back at how the Royal Family handled a big wedding back in the 70s.

It was the decade when Princess Anne married Captain Mark Phillips at Westminster Abbey.

She put on the wedding gown back on 14th November in 1973.

Now the Princess wore quite a traditional dress on the big day, which was designed by Maureen Baker was a "Tudor style" dress with a high collar and "mediaeval sleeves".

HRH was also known to have been involved in the design of the dress as well.

But we can expect Meghan to wear something very different as we know the future royal will go for something modern.

They've already announced they're breaking traditions with the wedding cake.

And so it begins 🍋

The couple have gone for an lemon elderflower cake instead of the classic fruitcake.
