Police Investigate Hit and Run in Scarborough

Scarborough police are looking for information after a cyclist was knocked over by a car, which failed to stop.

 

It happened at around 1.20pm on 3rd March, as a cyclist was turning right from Trafalgar Square in Scarborough onto North Marine Road in the direction of Peasholm when he was involved in a collision with a black hatchback car, possibly a Vauxhall Astra.

 

The cyclist was knocked from his bike and received slight injury to his hands and knees.

 

The vehicle did not stop at the scene and made off in the direction of Peasholme.

 

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision.
