Police Investigate Two Burglaries in Bridlington

A Bridlington pub was broken into and money stolen from a gaming machine.

It happened at the Nags Head pub in the market place between 10.10pm on Monday 12 March and 10.15am on Tuesday 13 March.

The pub was broken into through the back door before the gaming machine was smashed and the cash taken from inside.

Anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious is asked to contact police in Bridlington on the non emergency number 101 referring to log 199 of 13 March or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

In a separate case, a large, empty whisky bottle containing coins was taken in a burglary that took place at an address in Thoresby Avenue in Bridlington  between 6.30pm and 10.20pm on Tuesday 13 March.

Between £150 and £180 worth of coins were in the bottle that was taken from the house.

The thief broke in through the back door and searched the rooms before stealing the bottle which is described as a large, gallon sized bottle with a family photograph stuck onto the side.

Anyone who saw anything or knows what has happened to the stolen property, is asked to contact Humberside Police on the non emergency number 101 referring to log number 799 of 13 March or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
