Police are appealing for information following the theft of copper piping from a house on Avenue Road, which was stolen between 4.30pm on Tuesday 21 February and 9.50pm on Sunday 26 February 2012.  

The thieves stole a short section of pipe leaving gas leaking from the open section which has left the homeowner with a large bill.

Police are appealing for information after a green Peugeot 206 was set on fire on Newby Farm Road.

The arsonist struck between 10pm on Saturday 25 February and 3am Sunday 26 February 2012..

Police in Scarborough are appealing for information following the discovery of a suspect device on a cash machine at the Tesco store on Westwood.

It was discovered at 5.30pm on Thursday 1 March 2012.
