Elderly Man Beaten With His Own Walking Stick in Bridlington Attack

Police are appealing for information in connection with an incident that happened on Wellington Road, Bridlington between 10.15pm and 10.45pm on Saturday 25 February.

A 64 year old man was inside his home address, when he heard noises outside he went to see what was happening.

As he opened the door he was allegedly assaulted by an unknown man, which caused him to fall to the floor and drop his walking stick, which another unknown man picked up and continued to assault him with.

The man sustained two black eyes, small grazes to his forehead and bruising to his back in the incident.

One of the offenders is described as a man aged in his 20s and of a medium build, 6ft tall and with short dark hair.

Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to call Humberside Police tel 101 quoting crime reference 1893266.
