Flamborough RNLI Rescue Dog In Water Off Danes Dyke

Flamborough RNLI Rescue Dog In Water Off Danes Dyke

Published by Karen Liu at 7:54am 31st July 2020.

Flamborough Lifeboat Station has rescued a dog that was reportedly in the water off Danes Dyke.

The crew launched yesterday at around 12:25pm.

The dog, a Labrador, was found and then taken on board the boat and returned to the beach.

The RNLI says the owners of the pet were grateful and a member reassured the owners that they had done the right thing in contacting the coastguard rather than entering the water and attempting a rescue themselves.

Lifeboat and volunteer crew returned safely to station at South Landing at 12:50pm.

The Lifeboat and tractor were cleaned and prepared ready for the next service.
