Witness Appeal After Collision On A64 Near West Heslerton

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and any dashcam footage following a collision that happened on A64 near West Heslerton.

It happened at around 7.45am on Sunday 19th July and involved one vehicle, a black Ford Mondeo, which left the road near to West Heslerton.

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, they are appealing to anyone who has any dashcam footage taken in the area at the time.

A 21 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving a motor vehicle otherwise than in accordance with a licence and using a motor vehicle on a road or public place without third party insurance.

He has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.
