Virtual Film Night And Festival For East Riding Youths

East Riding Voluntary Action Services has adapted its youth services by taking it online.

It has developed a number of activities and resources to help young people across the county.

One of those is a film night on Saturdays and there is one taking place later at 6.30pm.

Andy Broughton, Senior Youth Outreach Worker, said:

"So obviously during COVID-19 and the lockdown, we've removed our services from being more face-to-face to being online.

As part of that, we've arranged online virtual festivals and film nights and things like that, which young people can log on and take part in."

It will also be holding its first ever virtual Youth Festival.

Andy added:

"We've got musicians on, we've got flamethrowers on, comedians, all sorts of different artists.

So that's on the 19th of June from 4pm and every sort of artist has a 15 minute slot and they'll perform what they do.

It should be really good fun actually."

Andy has been speaking to Yorkshire Coast Radio's Paddy in the Morning:
