Christ Church Early Learning In Bridlington Closes Permanently

Published by Karen Liu at 8:18am 4th May 2020.

Christ Church Early Learning nursery and pre-school in Bridlington has closed permanently.

It made the announcement on Friday (1st May) on their Facebook page.

It said:

"I am heartbroken to have to tell you all that Christ Church Early Learning will be closing permanently.

Due to financial struggles, the Council of Management made this decision yesterday and we were informed today.

We weren’t even given the opportunity to fight for our nursery and all of the hard work that we do every day to support our children and families.

We weren’t given the opportunity to voice the devastating effects that this decision will have on some of our most vulnerable children and families.

We are beyond hurt and disappointed. During the past couple of years we have turned the nursery around and had so much more planned for the future.

I would like to say a special thank you to John Dixon, who tried his very best until the end to fight for our nursery, staff, children and families

I would like to thank every single one of you from the bottom of my heart for all of the support you have given us.

Most of all, I would like to thank you all for sharing your most treasured possessions with us.

Your children are such amazing and special little people and have brought us so much joy and happiness over the years and months that we have known them.

We are so proud of them and all that they have achieved so far. The memories that we have made will stay with us for a lifetime and will be forever treasured.

We hope that you will keep in touch and continue to update us on our parent group.

Thank you to every single member of our team for your continued hard work, dedication and generosity. I am so sorry that it has to end this way and in these circumstances.

Parents, I know that this will be a very upsetting and worrying time for you all too and I will try my best to continue to support you all as much as I possibly can.

Thank you again and take care of yourselves."
