Kids To Shave Flixton Mum's Head For Saint Catherine's

Published by the Yorkshire Coast Radio News Team at 8:24am 30th April 2020. (Updated at 12:35pm 30th April 2020)

A Flixton mum is allowing her children to shave her head to help raise money for Saint Catherine's, and if she exceeds her target, the NHS too.

Chloe Hall says she wanted to support the hospice during a difficult time for local charities.

Her target is £500. If she manages to raise more than that, the extra will go to the NHS.

She says she doesn't mind her hair being cut off:

"Being a hairdresser, it's been through a traumatic time. It's had lots of colour on it. At the moment it's about shoulder length and I just don't like it. So I want to get rid of it completely and have a fresh start and do it for a great cause as well".

Chloe says she's a little worried about letting her three children loose on her hair but her husband will be standing by to help if needed.
