Man Arrested For Property Damage And Failing To Stop In Bridlington

A man has been arrested after a property was damaged in Bridlington.

Police were called to an incident on Sunday (26th April) on Eleanor Avenue where damage had been caused to a property and a vehicle had made off without stopping.

An officer from the community team spotted the vehicle and patrol officers from Team 3 Patrol were involved in a' Fail to Stop Pursuit' out of Bridlington towards the border of North Yorkshire.

With the assistance of North Yorkshire Police and the National Police Air Support Unit, a man was arrested for criminal damage and possession of offensive weapon. 

The Humberside force says it will pursue and bring those people responsible for committing crime to justice.
