Military Museum Launches Activities for Easter on the Home Front

Eden Camp Museum have come with a novel way to pass the time during the lockdown with a challenge to build your own Anderson Air Raid Shelter.

The museum closed on March 20th following the Government's advice on social distancing.

The activity is one of a number of a number of educational fun activities that the museum team have launched on their website.

The Air Raid shelter needs to be big enough to accommodate a Lego person, be waterproof and be able to support 1Kg of weight.

A print out sheet to help you design your own shelter is available on the Eden Camp website

The museum have also shared video of restoration work on their Sherman Tank engine which has been started up for the first time since 1988

The team have also created a library of colouring posters to download and print out along with instructions about how to make origami boats and submarines. The posters and instructions can be found at
