Scarborough Cleaned To Help Prevent Spread Of COVID-19

Published by Karen Liu at 11:52am 30th March 2020.

A Scarborough business has been keeping the town clean and tidy during the Coronavirus outbreak.

'Squeeky Clean' says the community has pulled together and have helped them out with the task.

Company owner William Haylett said:

"At the moment, we're going around the high risk areas; all the bus shelters, all the bins, everywhere where people are touching, sanitising it all and getting rid of the virus out of our town and out of our Borough, minimising the risk and making people aware of it.

We're not stopping until we minimise the risk of the virus, we're not going to stop now.

People have been helping us out and have been pulling together."

Hi I have been emptying the bin at Burton Riggs Nature Reserve. The McDonalds manager used to do this, but now they are closed the dog poo is was overflowing!
Please continue to put your dog poo and all dog poo bags into the bin. Let’s keep this spot clean for the children.
I’ll also clear up tins and bottles if you put them in or around bin.
Also I’ll clear up fishing line and hooks- be careful you fisherpeople.
Cheers Eileen
