Man Attacked Ouside Scarborough Pub

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault that occurred in Scarborough.

The incident happened on Valley Road, in the outdoor area of The Valley Bar, between 8.50 and 9.05pm on Saturday 14 March 2020 and involved two men.

One of the men suffered fractures to his face, cuts and swelling. He was taken to Scarborough Hospital where he was treated and then discharged.

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, they are appealing for information about the identity of the other man involved in the incident.

He is described as  is tall with a broad build, facial stubble and crown balding. He has a tattoo on his right hand. He was wearing a coat that had a hood, with patches on the upper arms and dark buttons fastening it, dark fitted jeans and white trainers.
