Published by Yorkshire Coast Radio News at 9:38am 8th March 2020. (Updated at 9:40am 8th March 2020)

The wife of missing Whitby man Peter Brown has made an emotional appeal on the ten-month anniversary of his disappearance.

Natalie Brown, posted on Facebook, on Sunday morning:

'Pete, you’ve been missing for 10 agonising months, today.

'We, your family, are as desperate now as we were at day 1, to have you safely back home.

'You are loved & missed more than ever. Jayden & Gracie need their dad, your mum & dad need their son, your sister needs her brother.

Words can’t describe how much I love & miss you, always. Please come home ❤️'

Peter, 47, was last seen on the 8th of May in Scarborough, with posters like the one above circulated across the north of England.

Hundreds of his family and friends have joined in the search since, using social media and a media van with Peter's image on it in their efforts.

Natalie adds:

'PLEASE DON’T GIVE UP SEARCHING FOR PETE, HE IS OUT THERE. IF YOU SEE PETE:

'Keep him in sight;

'Take a picture;

'Report to this search site;

'Ring the police.

'Pete will not be aware of this search.

'He has suffered a mental breakdown and will be suffering from memory loss.

'Please help him get to safety.
