Scarborough Council Holds Public Drop-In Sessions

Scarborough Borough Council’s 'Building a Better Borough' consultation, ‘Your Borough, Your Say’, continues with six roadshow style events throughout the borough in the coming weeks, starting tomorrow.

People will be able drop by to have a short informal chat with council representatives about how 'Building a Better Borough' can be achieved and let the council know about the things that matter the most to them, at the following events:

4 March, Filey Library: 10.00am until 1.00pm and 1.30pm – 5.00pm

7 March, Brunswick Centre, Scarborough: 10.00am – 4.00pm

12 March, Green Lane Centre, Whitby: 1.00pm – 5.00pm

14 March, Brunswick Centre, Scarborough: 10.00am – 4.00pm

23 March, Whitby Library: 10.00am – 4.00pm

1 April, Eastfield Library: 10.00am – 2.00pm

Pre-registering is not required, people can just turn up to whichever event is convenient for them.

People can also have their say online. The ‘Your Borough, Your Say’ survey is running up until 16 March and can be completed via the council’s Building a Better Borough website - scarborough.gov.uk/buildingabetterborough. Paper copies of the survey are available to pick up from the following locations:

Can you believe that a council with a track record of not listening to it's rate payers or listening and then ignoring them are going to waste there time on this smoke screen exercise.
