The Leader of Scarborough Borough Council, Steve Siddons, has announced three more councillors will join his Cabinet.

Cllr Siddons made the announcement at the end of this morning's meeting of Cabinet.

He said that Councillors Carl Maw (Labour), Phil Kershaw (Independent) and Michelle Donohue-Moncrieff (Independent), will become Cabinet members from March 1st.

That increases the number of members, from three to six.

Currently, the Cabinet is made up of Cllr Siddons himself as Leader, with Portfolioholders, Councillors Janet Jefferson, Liz Colling and Tony Randerson.

He said changes to portfolios would be announced 'in due course'
