Bridlington Man Jailed for Several Offences

A Bridlington man's been jailed after committing a number of offences over a month.

It relates to incidents last year between the 1st of August and September the 1st.

Jason Wilkinson, 33, from Meadow Road, faced nine charges at Hull Crown Court.

He pleaded guilty to:

  • Assault occasioning actual bodily harm
  • Having an article with a blade or point
  • Damaging a property
  • Assault by beating 
  • Violent disorder
  • And theft

He was found not guilty of:

  • Robbery
  • Common assault of an emergency worker

He pleaded not guilty to one charge of stalking involving fear of violence, which will remain on file.

Wilkinson's been sent to prison for four years, has to forfeit the knife, and has to pay a victim surcharge of £181.
