Scarborough Musicals are putting on 'Kipps - The New Half A Sixpence Musical', at the YMCA Theatre Scarborough in May but need some young stars to complete the cast.

It's based on the HG Wells novel and will run at the YMCA Theatre in Scarborough from 27th - 30th May.

The lead roles will be played by Connor Canvess (Arther) and Katie Buttner (Ann) but Director Alex Wetherill is needing two outgoing children ideally aged between 10 and 12, who would enjoy playing the younger versions of their characters.

He explains what he's looking for:

"They don't need to have had lots of stage experience before, though that's useful. We're looking for children who don't mind acting, singing and dancing on stage and won't be shy about it. We need a little bit of involvement from them for rehearsals. We also need to make sure they look roughly like the lead roles".
