Car Collides with Pedestrian Near Scarborough

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a minor collision outside Morrisons Supermarket, Dunslow Road in Eastfield.

It happened at 2.25pm on Tuesday 21 January 2020 and involved a blue Vauxhall Corsa and a pedestrian.

The Vauxhall Corsa is believed to have collided with the pedestrian before leaving the scene. The pedestrian suffered bruising and attended Scarborough Hospital, but has since been discharged.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the collision or anyone who recalls seeing the vehicle prior to the collision, to get in touch as soon as possible to assist the investigation.

In particular, they are appealing for information from members of the public who have witnessed the incident and obtained the registration number of the vehicle.
