Appeal After Second Burglary at Scarborough Shop

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about a second burglary at the Costcutter shop on Ramshill Road, Scarborough.

On  18 January 2020, at approximately 2.45am, whoever's responsible smashed the glass front door and made off with cigarettess and alcohol.

This is the second time within a week that the shop has been broken into.

Police are investigating this latest incident and say it' possible the incidents may be linked.

Officers are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, they're appealing for information about anyone acting suspiciously in the area, around the time of the offence.
