Man Jailed for Bridlington Armed Robbery

A man's been's jailed after an armed robbery at a shop in Bridlington.

It happened at a store on Sewerby Road last November.

Izac Thorne, 22, from Harrington Road in the town, was holding a blade and threatened the shopkeeper, while he demanded money from the till.

He stole four bottles of whiskey, before running out of the shop and down an alleyway.

Earlier this month, Thorne admitted robbery and having a knife in a public place.

He's been sentenced to 40 months in prison
