Figures have revealed which Yorkshire Coast railway stations are the most and least used.

It comes from the Office of Rail and Road for 2018 to '19.

Scarborough had nearly a million entries and exits in the year to the end of March.

While Bempton had almost 13,000.

Here's the overall figures of the main stations from most used to least:

  • Scarborough - 958,026
  • Bridlington - 452,690
  • Seamer - 144,668
  • Whitby - 130,990
  • Filey - 105,844
  • Hunmanby - 22,704
  • Bempton - 12,946

Overall least used from our three constituencies:

  • Nafferton - 34,048
  • Hunmanby - 22,704
  • Bempton - 12,946
  • Sleights - 4,182

Most used from our three constituencies:

  • Scarborough - 958,026
  • Bridlington - 452,690
  • Malton - 363,136
