Scarborough To Host Detective Day Game

Scarborough Detective Day is coming to the town next month.

It is an outdoor murder-mystery event in the style of the board game Cluedo.

It has been organised by the independent games studio CluedUpp.

The event takes place on 29th February with the start time at 10am and 1pm with a finish time of 5pm.

Adrienne Titley, who is from CluedUpp, said:

"Basically, players will go around Scarborough and go to different locations; and you'll visit different landmarks which will have witness statements for the fictional crime that's been committed in the town.

People will read these witness statements and then they'll be able to ultimately try and dwindle down on the suspect of who's committed the crime."

It is highly encouraged that people dress up for the 1920s inspired event.

Adrienne added:

"We hold competitions for the best dressed team, best team photo, best dressed dog; because dogs are very welcome to tag along and best dressed little-one.

So if you've got any under 16s playing, they're highly encouraged to dress up too."
