A puppy has been found in Scarborough after it was stolen.

Police originally issued an appeal saying the suspect entered a garden on Seamer Road, towards the retail park end, yesterday (Sunday 5th January) between 8pm and 8.30pm.

They also left the gate open when leaving.

Officers have since said Lucy, described as a dark coloured female Staffordshire terrier with a white mark on chest and brindle on sides of body, has been found.
