Three Arrested for Drug Dealing in Bridlington

Published by the Yorkshire Coast Radio News Team at 7:52am 19th December 2019. (Updated at 6:06pm 19th December 2019)

Officers from Humberside Police Pro-Active Team says they've sent out a strong message to those dealing drugs around Bridlington.

Yesterday afternoon, a drugs warrant was executed at a property on North Street and during a separate incident, an exchange witnessed on Lansdowne Road resulted in a 51-year-old woman and two males aged 48 and 38 being arrested for drug supply offences.

A white bag containing 39 wraps of suspected crack cocaine and heroin was seized.

Both men remain in custody and the woman has been released under investigation whilst enquiries continue.

The community team is aware of recent complaints surrounding drug dealers causing issues in Bridlington and says it hopes yesterday's actions will provide reassurance that it will not tolerate this criminal activity and the antisocial behaviour it brings to an area.

Should you wish to report drug dealing ongoing in your area please contact Humberside Police on 101 or crime stoppers on 0800 555 111.
