Residents of Scarborough and Whitby have been voting for who they want to represent them in Parliament.

Robert Goodwill has won the vote with 27,593 votes, his majority of 10, 270 votes is up by 3,192 from 2017.

The Conservative Party member has held the seat for the fifth time.

The turnout for 2019 is 67.09%. That is down from 68.65% in 2017.
