Filey Vets has taken 'Noddy' to visit Leeds children’s hospital to up their spirits for Christmas.

This is Noddy, a 12 year-old Shetland pony, owned by Angela Carnes, a partner of Filey Vets.

As you can see Noddy is extremely laid back and takes everything in his stride.

As a team, they decided that this would be a heartwarming visit for Noddy and themselves to make and decided to ask the hospital if they would like us to visit, as they feel the children staying in hospital over the Christmas period would really benefit from this and they wanted to put a smile on families' faces at this very special, but difficult, time of year.

They said:

"The children absolutely adored Noddy and it was so lovely to see them smile, even whilst undergoing treatment at this difficult time of year.

We took a Santa sack full of sweets for the children and, of course, carrots for Noddy."
