Fraudulent Use Of Elderly Scarborough Man's Bank Card

North Yorkshire Police say they've had an 'excellent response' to a CCTV appeal, after a 95 year-old man’s bank card was used fraudulently in Scarborough.

Earlier this week, we showed you pictures of two people - a man and a woman - that officers needed help to identify.

It was in relation to an incident that happened on Wednesday 20th November when the elderly man lost his wallet in the Town Centre.

Later the same day, a bank card which had been inside the wallet was used in an attempt to pay for goods at a local supermarket.

Police in Scarborough say they received an ‘excellent response’ and now have the information they need.
