Digital Timetables for Bridlington Bus Station

Digital Timetables for Bridlington Bus Station

Published by Matthew Pells at 12:11pm 25th November 2019. (Updated at 12:12pm 25th November 2019)

Brand new digital information screens have been installed for passengers at the bus station in Bridlington.

The new timetable display screens have been introduced by East Riding of Yorkshire Council to replace the old, outdated signs at both Bridlington and Beverley bus stations.

They will soon offer real-time updates, meaning passengers will be able to check more accurately what time their bus will arrive or if the service is running late.

Colin Walker, group manager of transportation services at East Riding of Yorkshire Council, said:

“The previous screens were old, outdated and could not offer real-time updates, so we have installed these new screens which we hope will be much more useful to passengers travelling from these two busy bus stations.”

Nice to see up to date passenger info.

All we need now is for the buses to have up to date info.

The Service 12 to Scarborough is hourly and does no go to Reighton Sands or Blue Dolphin.

But according to the fancy livery it's a 30min service going to Reighton Sands and Blue Dolphin.

Reighton Sands has not had a 30min service from Bridlington for more years than I can remember.

The new display is showing a service 13 to Scarborough, but this service finished at the beginning of November
