More volunteers are wanted at Flamborough RNLI.

They are looking for boat and shore crew who will assist in call-outs.

Captain David Freeman, the lifeboat's operation manager, said:

"Sea going crew obviously they'll go through basic training before we let them actually go to sea and shore crew is helping to get the boat afloat.

Tractor drivers obviously drive the tractors but you need to keep it clean and tidy and general running of the place.

We've got some of our volunteers coming to the age that they're too old to carry on in their roles at the moment.

We're always looking for new people to come along and replace to keep the numbers up."

Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer can ring David on 07770787183
