Could you help make Bridlington a better and safer town?

An appeal has been launched by the town's Crime Prevention Group.

Maggie Masters, who is from there, said:

"We're looking for volunteers who could perhaps spare about three hours a week to help make a difference to the community.

We're opening some new premises Easter of next year and we're looking for volunteers spread the word about crime prevention.

We also need people to help signpost others to different charities and organisations that will be operating within the building.

It could be anything from MIND, to the HOPE charity, to provide housing or to the Kingfisher charity, anything like that."

They want wanting volunteers who are aged 18 and over and no experience is necessary.

They are looking for people with a wide range of skills.
