Five Men in Court Over Scarborough Murder

Five men from Scarborough have appeared in court charged with murder.

It's after 26 year-old Solomon Robinson was stabbed to death outside the Town Hall in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police arrested 10 people in connection with his death - nine men aged between 18 and 28 and a 16 year-old boy.

The 16 year-old boy, two 20 year-old men, a 21 year-old man and a 28 year-old man have been released on conditional bail.

The other five have appeared before York Magistrates, accused of murder.

They are:

Callon Brass, 21, from Eastborough

20 year-old Dawid Goral, from Durham Street

Stevie Low, 22, from Longwestgate

And two 18 year-olds, Stefan Selvage, from Colescliffe Road and Kieran Watkinson, from Endcliff Crescent.

They're yet to admit or deny the charge, have been remanded in custody and will be back in court on Friday.
