Whitby Town Face FA Cup Replay

Whitby Town face an FA Cup fourth Qualifying round replay on Monday night after a 1-1 draw against Stourdridge at the Towbar Express Stadium.

Stourbridge took the lead in the 75th minute following a deep corner which looped into the top corner.

Five minutes later Town equalized through a Matthew Tymon header at the back post following a cross.

The Seasiders will now face another long journey on Monday. This is because that's Stourbridge's preferred 'midweek' fixture date. The club have already made plans, saying a supporters coach will leave Whitby at 12:30pm on Monday.

There is a small chance Whitby could make it to the 2nd Round without kicking a ball in the 1st Round. This is because of the odd number of Football League teams in the cup this season, after Bury were expelled from the EFL earlier this season. Because of this, the team who come out of the hat last in Monday's draw will get a Bye through to the next round.

Manager Chris Hardy spoke to Whitby Town's Media and Communications Officer Paul Connolly after Saturday's game:
